Antenna on a Ci~.Water Tower; Case of Vernon Wireless Community DeVelopment Director Frolik stated that the CiW has received an application from Vefizon Wireless requesting a conditional use pe~it to construct and operate cellular ~te~as on the new Ci~' water tower generally located off of Sunwood Drive. The subject prope~y is zoned BW Business Warehouse, su~ounding parcels to the no~h, south, east and west are also zoned BW Business Warehouse. Vefizon Wireless is proposing to install cellular ante~as on the new CiW water tower at a height of approximately 110 feet above gade (see site plan). CiW Code requires all cellular ante~as on City owned prope~ to obtain a conditional use pe~it from the City. The applicant is also proposing to construct a 12-foot by 30-foot (360 squ~e feet) equipment building on the property outside of the water tower base.
