I
I

IN SUMM~Y~ J

I
I
I
I
I

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

Obviously, our preference would be that NO higxh-density, multi ~hmily units
be built behind us on the church property. Alternately, with a few
modifications, the units (or a unit) could still be placed there, but
modifications made to the plan in order to preserve our neighborhood of
single-family homes akeady squeezed in a busy area. To further dose us
with yet another road and more traffic would be a HUGE disservic .e, o/~ur¢.o..)
· ' single-family residential area. Lord of Life has put their plans on paper,
but now is the time to look how it affects EVERYONE, specifically those
who share the property line with Lord of Life.

Final observations about other neiahborhoods in the area:

Savannah Oaks Senior Housing: Hwy 47 and 5' a large strip of dense,
full trees has been kept between that hig~h-density, multi-family housing unit
and the backyards of the single family homes that border it. (Dysprosium
St. side)

River Pines (Orrin Thompson homes): Hwy 47 and 157th: Plans
originally were fbr regular city lots in the whole development. Ho.wever,
Orrin Thompson was directed to change their plans to respect the
homeowners currently in the area with acreage. The change meant that the
fifth phase must have 1-acre parcels backed up to the current homeowners
land, in effect giving them a "buffer" from city-lot-sized homes.

Thank you/:bt helping us resolve this matter. Please help us keep a buffer
between single-family housing and high-density, multi-family units.

Very Sincerely,

Jim and Lauri [-lanson
14651 Fluorine St. NW
422-9106

-273-
