He <br />said they had no expec'tation that there would be a road 20 feet from their property when they <br />moved in. Chairperson Nixt commented that the church would be requested to work with the <br />neighborhood group. Mr. Nelson said there is room for consideration of screening or buffering. <br />Commissioner Watson expressed his concern regarding voting for the zoning and the project <br />moving through the process from then on. He would like to see something different before voting <br />on a sketch plan. Commissioner Kociscak stated he 4X, ould not disapprove if the road went <br />through the Katnis property. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Sweet. <br /> <br />Case #9: Request. for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment; Case of Lord of Life Church <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that the City received an application from Lord of Life Church <br />to change the land use designation from Commercial and Medium Density Residential to High <br />Density Residential. The comprehensive amendment, coupled with their rezoning request, would <br />allow the applicant to construct two 47-unit senior apartment buildings.
