A new access drive is proposed to be constructed to- serve the <br /> apartment building. The access drive will go across Lot 1, Block I, of the new plat and exit onto <br /> Nowthen Boulevard (CSAH 5). Proof of an access easement needs to be provided tolthe. City that <br /> will allow the apartment building residents to cross onto Lot 1, Block 1. The apartment bull/ding will <br /> consist of three stories. The proposed height of the apartment building exceeds the',35-foot maXimum <br /> height for structures allowed under City Code. The applicant is applying for-~¥ar4ance to exceed~the <br /> maximum height concurrently with the site plan review process. The. first st°rY-will contain <br /> apartment units and the second and third stories will contain 16 apartmei~t.units each. The buildin~, <br /> will have 6 one-bedroom and 4 l two-bedroom units. The plans show a road and parking that is combined, and he saw this <br /> as problematic, He asked' if the Pastor would consider ~ving up those 20 parking stalls. <br /> <br /> Pastor Anderson responded they are giving up a whole parking lot due to the placement of the <br /> road. He agreed that this resolution was less than desirable. Though, it does move the road <br /> substantially.away from the neighborhood, and far from what code requires.
