-314- <br /> <br /> (the Subject Property) <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan Amendment approved in 1995 showed the <br />subject property's designated land use as commercial and medium density residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the March 2001 Draf~ Comprehensive Plan proposes to designate the <br />Subject Property as high density residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on September 10, 2001, conducted a <br />public hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the request for an <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that changing the land use designation to high <br />density residential is beneficial to the City as a whole. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br /> documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 1995 Comprehensive Plan <br /> to designate the Subject Property as high density residential. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember _ <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the ~ day of ,2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-10- <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
