Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As Council is aware, you have authorized a public improvement project for the construction of <br />Sunwood Drive and Azurite Street extensions. The city acquired the fight-of-way for the Sunwood <br />Drive segment from Waste Management some time ago. Additional right-of-way is needed for the <br />Azurite extension and temporary construction easements and permanent drainage and utility <br />easements. The State of Minnesota is the fee owner of all the property rights necessary to be <br />acquired. The State requests that the City commence an eminent domain action in order to acquire <br />the property interests.
