In order to fulfill the agreement they must pay a minimum of $13.00 <br />per hour. As it relates to minimum wage $I3.00 per hour is substantially higher. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to how the $13.00 per hour compares to the wages paid <br />in the service industry. <br /> <br />Mr. Mulrooney replied that the $13.00 per hour would be substantially higher that. what is paid at <br />most service industry jobs. He also noted that Star Exhibits also brings with them a substantial <br />amount of white-collar work~ force above $50,000 annually. Voting No: None. :~? <br /> <br />Case #6: Amended and Restated for Development District No. <br /> 1 <br />City Administrator Norman stated that with Advance Resources for <br />Development to prepare the modification to· District No. 1 to <br />expand the area of the Development District. In Nc 1998 ~, City Council authorized <br />the modification of the Development District to include most of~h¢~ ~hich is south of what <br />is now known as Alpine Drive. An area was excluded from tlae~i~¢el0~ment District included <br />that area south of the railroad tracks and north of Highwag~!~ecause Alpine Drive intersects <br />with Highway #10 to the east of the potential development ~ea. Current discussions to develop <br />this area would require inclusion in the Development District. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman recommended that the new Alpine Drive extension be the northerly <br />boundary. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council was to have Alpine Drive be the northerly boundary of District No. 1. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to adopt <br />Resolution #01-10- approving an amended and restated development program for <br />Development District No. 1. <br /> <br />City Council/October 23, 2001 <br /> Page 11 of 24 <br /> <br />-51- <br /> <br /> <br />
