Voting No: None. <br /> <br />;Councitmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Case #9: Request for Site Plan Review of Star ; C~:of Ameon <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that Star E~'~"~'is a'~':~mpany that cu~ently <br />operates in Brooklyn-Park. ~ey have out,own their cu~e~}'~iliw ~d would like to relocate <br />their business to the C~ty of Ramsey. ~e C~ has received a s~te plan from Star E~b~ts <br />contractor, Amcon, for the development of ~ office/w~ehouse faciliW. ~e subject prope~ is <br />generally located to the east of CounW Road ~116 and south of Sunwood Drive. ~ conjunction <br />with the proposed site pl~, the CiW of Ramsey is going t~ough the pla~ing process to <br />subdivide approximately 41 acres into four parcels to allow for the development of St~ E~bits <br />and ~mre commercial/industrial developments. ~e site pl~ is propos~g to cons~ct a <br />185,000 square foot office/~arehouse hcility with a possible 28,800 square foot ~mre addition. <br />The proposed site plan meets the front yard, rear yard, and side y~d setbacks established in the <br />Industrial district. ~e industrial district restricts lot coverage to. 35 percent, the site plan is <br />proposing to construct 185,000 square feet of building space on 14 acres, which equates to <br />approximately a 30 percent lot coverage. ~e site will derive t~ee access points from' the <br />extension of A~fite Street.
