As part of the landscaping plan <br />he would like those trees to be replaced as well as some type of barrier from the road. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired if the building will have a sprinkling system. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire ChiefKapler replied yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman recommended that the Council address the amendment to the <br />Comprehensive Plan first. <br /> <br />Case #15: Request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment; Case of Lord of Life Church <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon :~fg~:~d. that Lord of Life Church has submitted an application for a <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment :for their property located between T.H. #47 and CSAH #5 <br />(Nowthen Boulevard)~ :'The reques[!!!:rs to change the land use designation from commercial and <br />Medium Density ReSldential to ~!~ Density Residential. Lord of Life Church is currently in <br />the process of platting th~ir, P~ii~'~!ii~tb~ee new parcels. They are requesting that the land <br />use desi/~mation of Lot 2, ~'lock,,!!%~')cha~b,d from commercial and medium density to high <br />density residential with a m~i~u~i~i!ii,~f l~i~nits per acre. The March 2001 draft of the <br />Comprehensive Plan ,s_hows the area of~f~2i :Block to be designated as high density residential. <br />Lord of Life Church s request is con~:1~tent with ~ use designation shown in the March <br />2001 draft of the Comprehensive PI~? recommended approval of the <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment.:;¢:~;~ <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman inquired as to , was with a R-3U zoning. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon replied that the , up t6 ~seven units per acre under the <br />1995 Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he did not have any objections to what;~a~ being~¥roposed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to what the prodbss was for amending the existing <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon replied that staff, with Council approval, would submit an <br />application to the Met Council for their consideration.
