Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to when the truck would be available. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler replied approximately 12 months. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated that the highest story deck is 32 feet above grade and inquired if <br />the Fire Chief felt that was adequate to not endanger public safety without the aerial ladder truck. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler replied no. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if the building existed today how would the Fire <br />Department handle a fire. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler replied that depending on where the fire started, they <br />would have to call in a,,n¢ilghbb~ng fire department, which would require the Ramsey Fire <br />Department to leave adequate spa~,..for them to come into the scene.
