Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />-100- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-12- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-I, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, B- <br />i, BUSINESS AND B-2, BUSINESS TO MR, HIGH DENSITY MULTI FAMILY <br />RESIDENTIAL URBAN. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 14, 2001, the City of Ramsey (the "City") received an application <br />from Edina Development, Inc. to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 <br />(Zoning Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Edina Development, Inc., hereinafmr referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied <br />to rezone the following legally described property from R-l, Single Family Residential, B-l, <br />Business, and B-2, Business to MR, High Density Multi Family Residential Urban: <br /> <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, l~ing westerly of the center <br />line of State Trunk Highway No. 47; and <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying north of the South <br />413.75 feet of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and lying <br />westerly of the center line of State Trunk Highway No. 47; and <br /> <br />That part of the South 413.75 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest <br />Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying <br />westerly of the center line of State Trunk Highway No. 47; <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on September 10, 2001, and said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />the minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately 25 acres in size. <br /> <br />That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (~MUSA) <br />boundary. <br /> <br /> <br />
