Voting Yes: Commissioners Kociscak, Reeve, and Watson. Voting No: <br />Chairperson Nix/. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Sweet. <br /> <br />Case/413: <br /> <br />Request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment; Case of Edina Development, <br />Inc. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Principal Planner Tmdgeon stated that the City received an application from Edina Development, <br />Inc. for a comprehensive plan amendment to change the land use designation for property they <br />would like to develop from commercial and single family residential to high density residential. <br />The comprehensive plan amendment, coupled with their rezohing request, would allow the <br />applicant to construct a townhouse development. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kociscak, seconded by Commissioner Watson, to recommend that the <br />City Council adopt the resolution authorizing staff to submit the Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment to Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Kociscak, Watson, and Reeve. Voting No: <br />Chairperson Nixt. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and'Sweet. <br /> <br />PLANNING COM~¥IISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #14: Ramsey Comprehensive Plan Review of June 21, 2001 Public Hearing <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated the Council is still working on tNs item.
