The awning is 315 square feet in size; this interprets to a 250 square foot overage in wall signs. Mr. Deal intends to remove all existing wall s/g-ns from the building. The City has in the past, granted conditional use permits to allow for larger signs than permitted under City Ordinances (Ampride, Burger King, Pdver Bend Plaza, Ramsey Town Square, M & G Leasing Inc. and Blue Line Collision). The proposed awning is professionally done and Staff recommends approval of the conditional use permit request. Citizen Input There was none.
