Our project understanding, scope of services, <br />schedule, and fee are below. <br />Project Understanding <br />Mn /DOT requires regular routine inspections of all bridges within the state. According to the <br />Mn /DOT database, the City of Ramsey is responsible for the inspection of three bridges. The City <br />also inspects another bridge that provides a wildlife crossing of a roadway. The goals of this <br />project are: <br />• inspect the four structures to observe the condition of the bridge <br />• Document the findings according to Mn /DOT & FEIWA guidelines <br />• Provide recommendations to extend the service life of the bridge <br />• Update bridge inspection frequency to be compliant with Mn /DOT policy <br />Scope of Services <br />Kim ley-Horn will provide routine bridge safety inspections for the City's four bridges in <br />accordance with Mn /DOT and FI -IWA guidelines as directed in the . National Bridge Inspection <br />Standards (NBIS). Matt Jensen P.E., a Mn /DOT certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader, will <br />provide a routine inspection of each bridge with a member of the Ramsey Public Works staff.
