He does not see making it a <br />permanent two-year position right now. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Vogt and seconded by Commissioner LaMere to send the folio, wing to <br />the City Council for language for the November 7, 2000 ballot: Shall the number of <br />Councilmembers be increased from four to six with the election year 2002. <br /> <br />Further discussion: It was discussed whether or not the verbiage relating to an interim, two-year <br />term would be included. Commissioner Donovan suggested that the interim two-year term <br />would be the Commission's recommendation, but that it is not necessary to put that language to a <br />vote. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Kiefer, <br />Donovan, Henke, Netzloff and Rosenow. Voting No: <br />Brist. <br /> <br />Commissioners Vogt, LaMere, Childs, <br /> None. Absent: Commissioner Spain <br /> <br />The second issue was the discussion of primaries and wards. <br /> <br />Chairperson Kiefer asked if anyone is interested in either of these items.
