scheduled within the next six months, the City is obligated to schedule a special election to be <br />held within 90 days after delivery of the Petition. That means a special election must be held on <br />or before April 23, 2001. Because of the scheduling requirements of the County's electim~ <br />process and the 90 day requirement, it appears that the most feasible date for an election would <br />be Tuesday, April 17, 2001. <br /> <br />Finally, the Statute provides that the form of the ballot shall be fixed by the city council. This <br />should therefore be done at the city council meeting on February 27, 2001. <br /> <br /> <br />
