-448- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR POLICE SERGEANT WHEREAS, at its December 10, 2002 meeting, the City Council promoted Thomas Lueck to the position of Corporal effective December 11, 2002; and WHEREAS, on January 28, 2003, the position of Corporal was eliminated replaced with a Sergeant position; and WHEREAS, Mr. Lueck was promoted to the position of Sergeant effective January 29, 2003; and WHEREAS, Mr. Lueck has successfully completed his six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its June 24, 2003 meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for Thomas Lueck, effective July 29, 2003. NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Thomas Lueck, effective July 29, 2003. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of August, 2003.
