might want to discuss, at a future meeting, the continuation of business tours, along with a
schedule. It was recommended that business tours be conducted at least one time per year.

Community Development Block Grant redevelopment (Chies/Morrell): Larry Morrell, from
Morrell's Trucking, had accepted the offer by the City to purchase his property for $265,000.
Discussions were continuing with Lorraine Chies and her son Don to finalize the terms of the
purchase of their property. Once the properties were acquired, the City would have one year to
demo and conduct site improvements to clean up the sites.

Precise Metalcraft: DeWayne Muschik had put a down payment on property in the City to
construct a manufacturing facility. Staff was drafting a development agreement and was still
waiting for elevations and a site plan for the 11,000-square-foot project to be constructed this
summer. It was noted that a business subsidy agreement had been approved for Mr. Muschik.

Prospective Businesses: Staff reported that inquiries had accelerated over the past couple of
months. Many of the inquiries were for projects that ranged in size from 8,000 to 15,000 initial
building sizes. The replatting of a portion of Sunfish Lake Business Park and the pending
acquisition on the Chies and Morrell properties should accommodate the need for the smaller lot
sizes needed by the prospective businesses. Mr. Sullivan noted that two Andover cabinet shops
had inquired about 10,000 to 15,000 square-foot areas.

MEMBER INPUT

None

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Member LeToumeau, seconded by Member Steffen, to adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.
