Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A PREDE¥3gLOPMENT GRANT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's <br />Housing Incentive Pro,am for 2003 as determined by Metropolitan Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has identified a proposed project with the City that meets the <br />Predevelopment Grant's purposes and criteria; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure <br />adequate project administration; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all app!icable taws and regulations <br />as stated in the contract ag'eements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City COuncil of Ramsey, Minnesota a~ees to act as legal sponsor for <br />the project contained in the Predevelopment Grant application submitted on September 15, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, .~LNOI4~& COLLNTY, SATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Administrator is hereby authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council <br />for this funding on behalf of the City of Ramsey and to execute such agreements as are necessary <br />to implemem the project on behalf'gf the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> · and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9th day of September, 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br />-144- <br /> <br /> <br />
