Funds for the purchase of vehicles are not included in the program fees the
agency receives from the counties and state. The purchase of vehicles is a large
ongoing expense but a necessity because transportation is integral to Rise
participants maintaining their jobs. Rise provides transportation to many people who
live in Anoka County and depend on Rise transportation services to take them to
their jobs each day.
