At the
public hearing on the establishment of this district, several of the property owners testifying
recommended against establishing the district until such time as the costs of the improvement
projects proposed for the district became known.

The feasibility study for the project was presented at the January 25, 2000 Council meeting. A
copy of the feasibility study is attached to Case #5 of tonight's agenda, which is a public hearing
on the storm sewer project proposed for this district. The City Attorney has advised that the
attached ordinance establishing the district be adopted prior to the public hearing.

Council Action:

Motion to adopt an ordinance establishing a storm sewer improvement tax district (Mississippi
River Stormwater Subdrainage District No. 1) in the City ofRamsey, Anoka County, Minnesota.

Reviewed by:

City Administrator
City Attorney
Director of Public Works

CC: 02/22/00

//

7
