Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Public Works Committee and direct staff to draft a letter to Anoka <br />County asking them to reconsider their cost participation response, to inform the 164th Lane <br />property owners of Anoka County's position and asking their assistance in obtaining County <br />participation, and to retain Hakanson Anderson to prepare plans and specifications for the <br />project. <br /> <br />Motion carried. The <br />Council concurred. <br /> <br />Case #12: Report from Personnel C°'mmittee <br /> <br />1) End Probationary Period of Community Development Secretary Tara Olson <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson explained the Personnel Committee met earlier this evening and the <br />action being recommended by the Personnel Committee is to adopt a resolution to end the <br />probation period, based on the satisfactory six-month appraisal, and that Community <br />Development Secretary Tara Olson be retained as a regular, full-time employee, effective <br />September 1999. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-01-XXX formally ending the probationary period for Community Development <br />Secretary Tara Olson and granting her the status of regular, full-time employee, effective <br />September 15, 1999. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
