ESTIMATED PROJECT COSTS The estimated project costs are presented in Table 1 and include detailed construction costs and overhead costs. Overhead costs include, but are not limited to, engineering, construction staking, inspection, fiscal and legal, administrative, and contingency costs. It is proposed that the 8 lots with direct access be assessed a full share and the other 2 lots be assessed a half share of the project cost. Parcels that require driveway removal to facilitate the pax~ing of the roadway will have their driveways restored as a portion of the project cost. However, such parcels requiring a new culvert will be assessed directly for the new culvert, which cost is estimated at $600, in addition to the project assessment described below. If the project should proceed to the stage where the City Council authorizes plans to be prepared and bids to be solicited as required by law, the City Council may award the construction to the lowest responsible bidder, providing the bid does not exceed 110% of the construction cost estimates contained herein.
