Mn/DOT Agreement No. 80003 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA AGENCY AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION IN CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> This agreement made and entered into by and between the City of Ramsey, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "City" and the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota, <br />herein~{fte? referred to as "Mn/DOT", <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 161.36, the City desires Ivln/DOT to act <br />as its agent in accepting federal funds in its behalf for the construction, improvement, or <br />enhancement of transportation financed ~ither in whole or in part by federal funds, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "Project(S)"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 16t.36 requires that the terms and conditions of this <br />agency be set forth in an agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />DUTIES OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 161.36, the City does <br />hereby appoint Mn/DOT to act as its agent in accepting federal funds in its behalf <br />made available for the Project(s). <br /> <br />LETTING. The following procedure shall be followed in accordance with Minnesota <br />Law. <br /> <br />The City shall first obtain written authorization from Mn/DOT for the <br />Project(s) to proceed to letting. <br /> <br />The City shall publish the advertisement calling for bids on the Project(s) in <br />the Construction Bulletin, and in the officially designated newspaper of the <br />City.
