Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-02-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS TO VANDER VEGT ELECTRIC, INC. FOR <br />THE ELECTRICAL ELEMENT IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION #2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 29, 2000 the City of Ramsey received bids for 3 sections of the <br />construction project: General Contractor, Mechanical and Electrical. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the low acceptable bid for Electrical was Vander Begt Electric, Inc. at a bid <br />price of $128,815 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for the project will be paid from revenues produced by the sale of <br />Lease Revenue Bonds in December of 1999. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1.) The City Council hereby authorizes the construction award to Vander Vegt Electric for <br />$128,815. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14°' day of March 2000. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />I'/3 <br /> <br /> <br />
