Engineering Services that will be provided for the w~ter s~stem improvements ~re as follows: Task 1 - Project Workshop A project workshop meeting will be held with key rnembe:s of our project team and the City staff. The project workshop provi~s an oppor0,nlty for the project team members to exchange information and review scope of work items for the water system improvements with the City stall': A summary of major items that will be presented during the Project Workshop is as follows: · receive input from the staff · review scope of work items · identLfication o£proje~t information needs · review and discuss project procedure details · review and discuss project schedules · adjustment o'.r thc work plan to meet needs o£the City of Ramsey After the project workshop, a detailed WOrk plan and project schedules will be developed. Task 2- Water Supply Well In this task, the englnccring project mana§ement would consist of the following major items: 1) coordinate and assist the City staff in processing and ob~i.lng all necessary perm/ts and approvals from the Minnesota Department of Health and other agencies; 2) coordinate obtaining the necessary construction observation services during the drilling of the new well to ensure that the well is constructed according to the Sate of Minnesota Department of Health requirements; 3) coordinate and assist the staff in reviewing the well driller's construction payment requests; and 4) coordinate with the well driller to ensure ~! as-built drawh~gs and equipment operation maouals are provided. Task 3 - Well Supply Pump In this task, the engineering project management would consist of the following major items: 1) provide engineering documents in order to secure the well supply pump and associated controls; 2) provide construction observation of tho installation of tho well pump and associated controls; 3) coordinate in assisting tho City in reviewing the payment requests for the well pump and associated controls;-and 4) coordinate with the well pump supplier to ensure all as-built drawings and equipment operation manuals are provided. Task 4 - Well Pump Facility and Interconnecting Watermains In this task, thc engineering project management would consist oft, he following major items: 1) provide engineering documents to sc'cure a qualified contractor to construct a well pump building; 2) provide ehgineering documents'to secure a qualified contractor to install the interconnecting waterm:~in~ and associated road work; 3) coordinate and assist the City staffin processing and obtaining all necessary permits; 4) coordinate obtaining the necessary construction observation services during the construction of the well pump facility and interconnecting vraterma, ins along with the associatcd road work to ensure Page 7 of 8
