Engineering Services that will be provided for the w~ter s~stem improvements ~re as follows: <br /> <br />Task 1 - Project Workshop <br />A project workshop meeting will be held with key rnembe:s of our project team and the City staff. The <br />project workshop provi~s an oppor0,nlty for the project team members to exchange information and <br />review scope of work items for the water system improvements with the City stall': <br /> <br />A summary of major items that will be presented during the Project Workshop is as follows: · receive input from the staff <br /> <br /> · review scope of work items <br /> <br /> · identLfication o£proje~t information needs <br /> <br /> · review and discuss project procedure details <br /> <br /> · review and discuss project schedules <br /> <br /> · adjustment o'.r thc work plan to meet needs o£the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />After the project workshop, a detailed WOrk plan and project schedules will be developed. <br /> <br />Task 2- Water Supply Well <br />In this task, the englnccring project mana§ement would consist of the following major items: <br />1) coordinate and assist the City staff in processing and ob~i.lng all necessary perm/ts and approvals <br />from the Minnesota Department of Health and other agencies; 2) coordinate obtaining the necessary <br />construction observation services during the drilling of the new well to ensure that the well is constructed <br />according to the Sate of Minnesota Department of Health requirements; 3) coordinate and assist the <br />staff in reviewing the well driller's construction payment requests; and 4) coordinate with the well driller <br />to ensure ~! as-built drawh~gs and equipment operation maouals are provided. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Well Supply Pump <br />In this task, the engineering project management would consist of the following major items: 1) provide <br />engineering documents in order to secure the well supply pump and associated controls; 2) provide <br />construction observation of tho installation of tho well pump and associated controls; 3) coordinate in <br />assisting tho City in reviewing the payment requests for the well pump and associated controls;-and <br />4) coordinate with the well pump supplier to ensure all as-built drawings and equipment operation <br />manuals are provided. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Well Pump Facility and Interconnecting Watermains <br />In this task, thc engineering project management would consist oft, he following major items: 1) provide <br />engineering documents to sc'cure a qualified contractor to construct a well pump building; 2) provide <br />ehgineering documents'to secure a qualified contractor to install the interconnecting waterm:~in~ and <br />associated road work; 3) coordinate and assist the City staffin processing and obtaining all necessary <br />permits; 4) coordinate obtaining the necessary construction observation services during the construction <br />of the well pump facility and interconnecting vraterma, ins along with the associatcd road work to ensure <br /> <br />Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
