It is my opinion that this type of business is not in the best interest or <br />conducive to our business or the other businesses in the area. I feel that allowing this <br />type of conditional use permit to be issued will adversely effect the value of all the <br />surrounding properties. <br /> <br />Additionally, I do not believe that the letter we received clearly defines the safeguards <br />that need to be taken regarding hazardous waste issues.. <br /> <br />Our business is a service business. However, we frequently have visitors, usually <br />insurance executives, and quite frankly, we are concerned about unpleasant odors that <br />may originate from this property. <br /> <br />It is my hope that city officials will stick to their original plan as the land north of <br />Highway 10 and west of Sunfish Lake Blvd is developed. As if stand now, the city has <br />done a wonderful job of keeping the new businesses pleasing to the eye and the values of <br />the businesses have increased or held their values due to the city's hard work at sticking <br />to the originally drawn expansion plan. <br /> <br />In conclusion, I am opposed to any issuance of a conditional use permit for Ace Solid <br />Waste. I feel this type of business.needs to be located in a more remote area and feel that <br />allowing them to build at the intersection of.
