Northwest, and at 153rd Avenue ~orthwest and in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth;' and WHEREAs, it is considered in the public's best interest for the State to provide a master controller and three (3) new cabinets and control equipment to operate said~ new.traffic control signals, all at the cost and expense of the State; and WHEREAS, the County, the City and the State will participate in the maintenance and operation of the new traffic control signals with street lights, EVP Systems, interconnect and internally illuminated signing as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: I. The City shall prepare the necessary plan, specifications 'and proposal which shall constitute "Preliminary Engineering'*. The City shall also perform the construction inspection required to complete the items of work hereinafter set forth, which shall constitute "Engineering and Inspection". 2. The City with i~s own forces and equipment or by contract shall install new traffic control signals with street lights, EVP Systems, interconnect and internally illuminated signing on Trunk Highway No. 47 (St. Francis Boulevard) at County· State Aid Highway No. 5 (Nowthen Boulevard) - Xkimo Street Northwest [System "B"], at 149th Avenue Northwest [System "C"], and at 153rd Avenue Northwest [System "D"] in accordance with the 79972M 2 362 I I I I' I I I I I I !
