I have reviewed the Iow bid prices and variance is
acceptable.

The Metro Division concurs in the award of this project to Richard Knutson, Inc. contingent on the full execution
of the Cooperative Construction Agreement. The City should be aware that until the Cooperative Construction
Agreement is fully executed by the City and State, no binding agreement between the City and State exists which
Provides for Mn/DOT State Trunk Highway funding to be applied to this project.

Mn/DOT's official concurrence in the award is the receipt of the. fully executed Cooperative Construction
Agr6ement to the city, At this time, the agreement is being routed to the City for execution. When the City has
executed the agreement, it will be routed for final State signatures. Upon receiving the agreement back from the
City, it is anticipated that the agreement would be fully executed within a few weeks. A copy of the fully
. executed'agreement will then be sent to the City.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely, .. / ..//-//2

Kevin Hoglund, P.E..
Cooperative Agreement Engineer
Metro Division

· CC:

Bob Brown, Metro state Aid Grog Felt, Metro State Aid
Mike Kowski, Metro State Aid Al Lidberg, Metro State Aid
Jon Olson, Anoka County Jim Dvorak, SKF
Mike Gerbensk'y, Metro Traffic
Maryanne Kelly-Sonneki'C.O.
