I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF PAMELA MILLER TO HALF <br /> TIME SECRETARY (MAKING HER A FULL TIME SECRETARY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Colleen Rybak resigned fi:om her position effective March 24, <br />2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the half time secretary position was posted internally through March <br />31, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pamela Miller submitted a letter of interest for the position vacated <br />by Ms. Rybak; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to hire Pamela Miller for the half time secretary position <br />vacated by Ms. Rybak thereby bringing Ms. Miller to full time status effective <br />April 26, 2OO0. <br /> <br />2). <br /> <br />That in her new position as a full time secretary, Ms. Miller will be compensated <br />at an annual rate of $25,207 with two weeks of vacation and be required to <br />complete a six month probationary period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was decla]red duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 25th day of April 2000. <br /> <br />417 <br /> <br /> <br />
