8.30.05 <br /> <br /> 4. State Notification of Violations, Any inspection installation, design, construction, <br /> alteration or repair of an ISTS by a licensed person or any pumping and disposal of <br /> septage by a licensed pumper or hauler done in violation of the provisions of this <br /> Section shall be cause for notification to the MPCA. <br /> <br />Additional Standards for Health and Environmental Protection <br /> <br />a. Additional Standards. The following standards shall also apply: <br /> <br /> 1. Costs. Costs incurred under paragraph e.l(f) above, shall be paid out of the City's <br /> General Fund. Such costs shall be charged to the owner of the premises involved as <br /> special assessments on the land on which the building or structure is located, and <br /> shall be collected in the manner provided for special assessments. <br /> <br /> 2. Separation Distances <br /> <br /> (a) The separation distance fxom a well to an ISTS shall be as specified in M.S. <br /> 301i, MN Rules Chapter 4725, as amended. <br /> <br /> (13) The separation distances from ISTS to be designated lakes and rivers shall be <br /> as identified in the Ramsey City Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> (c) The separation distance from an ISTS to a Type 3, 4, 5 or 6 wetland shall be <br /> seventy-five (75) feet. <br /> <br /> 3. Alternative and Experimental Systems. This subdivision hereby adopts by <br /> reference MN Rules Chapter 7080.0910, Alternative and Experimental Systems. <br /> <br /> (a) Alternative systems are allowed only in areas where a standard system cannot <br /> be installed or is not the most suitable treatment. <br /> <br /> (b) Experimental systems may be used in areas where a standard system cannot <br /> be installed or if a system is considered new technology with limited data on <br /> reliability. <br /> <br /> (c) Standards for alternative systems are specified in MN Rules Chapter <br /> 7080.0910 subp. 3 for the following conditions: <br /> <br />(1) Slow permeable soils <br /> <br />(2) Rapidly permeable soils <br /> <br />(3) Artificial Drainage <br /> <br />(4) Floodplain areas <br /> <br />(5) Greywater systems <br /> <br />(6) Privies <br /> <br />(7) Existing dwellings on small lots <br /> <br />(8) Collector systems <br /> <br />(9) Holding tanks <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
