If the owner of a property containing an ISTS fails to <br />cause the filing of either the Pumping Report or the Maintenance <br />Inspection Report every three (3) years, the City Administrator or his/her <br />designee shall by certified mail notify the property owner that a Pumping <br />Report or a Maintenance Inspection Report shall be filed with the City <br />within thirty (30) days from the date of the notice. In the event the <br />property owner fails to file a complete Pumping Report or Maintenance <br />Inspection Report with the City within the thirty (30) day period, the City <br />may order the required pumping/cleaning and the property owner shall be <br />responsible for the costs plus an administration fee. The administration <br />fee shall be established by City Council resolution. <br /> <br />Pumping and Inspection Permits. Permits for pumping and <br />maintenance inspections shall be obtained from the City. The permits <br />shall be designed to serve as the Pumping Report or the Maintenance <br />Inspection Report. The fee for the permits shall be established by City <br />Council resolution. <br /> <br />The title of Section 8.30.03 shall be changed to "ISTS Installation, Replacement, Alteration, <br />Repair or Extension. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY <br /> <br /> I <br />I <br />I' <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #00-__ has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #00-__ to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 8 (Building <br />and Housing) to require inspection or pumping of individual sewage treatment systems at least <br />every 3 years in accordance with Minnesota Rule 7080. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
