Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF BRIAN OLSON TO FULL- <br /> TIME CITY ENGINEER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 11, 2000, Council approved the process to hire a full- <br />time City Engineer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staffwent through a hiring process and six applications were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a panel interviewed five applicants on April 20, 2000, and Brian <br />Olson was the panel's first choice. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to hire Brian Olson as a full-time City Engineer. <br /> <br />2) That in his new position as a full-time City Engineer, Mr. Olson will be <br /> compensated at an annual rate of $57,268 with three weeks of vacation and be <br /> required to complete a six month probationary period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br /> Council this the 23rd day of May 2000. <br /> <br /> <br />
