Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE <br />GENERAL FUND BUDGET OF ENGINEERING PERSONAL SERVICES TO <br />THE BUDGET OF PLANNING AND ZONING PERSONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has requested that the <br />City Council authorize the hiring of a summer intern; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $6,500 is required to compensate a <br />prospective intern for his/her time and work for the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff determined that funds exist in the Engineering Personal <br />Services budget in excess of those needed for the hiring of an additional engineer and <br />would be sufficient to compensate an intern. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council authorize the transfer of funds in the amount of $6,5000 from <br />the General Fund budget of Engineering Personal Services to the budget of Planning and <br />Zoning Personal Services to compensate a summer intern. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council on the 23rd day of May 2000. <br /> <br /> <br />
