As required by the union contract, the position was <br />posted internally for seven business days. JoAnn Shaw, Secretary in Administrative <br />Services, submitted a letter of interest for the position. Based on an interview conducted <br />by the Director of Community Development and Human Resources Manager with Ms. <br />Shaw on June 27, 2000, Staff is recommending Ms. Shaw for the position of Community <br />Development Secretary. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending that the Council authorize hiring JoAnn Shaw for the full-time <br />Community Development Secretary position contingent upon successful completion of a <br />six-month probationary period.
