Case #5: Consider Renaming East/West of 153ra Avenue N.W. Councilmember Zimmerman suggested changing the name of 153rd Avenue N.W. to a unique, non-numeric name since the roadway varies between 153rd Avenue N.W. to 155th Avenue N.W. in various locations as it crosses the City. The Committee directed that suggestions for the renaming be advertised in the Ramsey Resident. Council Action: Motion to ratify the Public Works Committee's recommendation to advertise the renaming of 153rd Avenue N.W. in the Ramsey Resident and to solicit names. Case #6: Consider A1 Kempf Easement Issue The Committee discussed the appropriate response to the statement presented by Mr. A1 Kempf at the July 11, 2000 Public Works meeting. The Committee directed that an appraisal be obtained for damages to the Kempf property. Council Action: Motion to ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. Case #7: Update on Award of Water Tower No. 2 Staff explained that an error occurred when reading the Water Tower No. 2 bids when the bids were opened and $1,455,000 was read but $1,445,000 was mistakenly written down. The actual award should be $10,000 more than authorized. The Public Works Committee recommended the additional authorization orS10,000 for the Water Tower #2 bid. Council Action: Motion to ratify the Public Works Committee's recommendation to the additional authorization of $10,000 for the Water Tower No. 2 bid. Case #8: Update of 143ra Avenue N.W. Between Jaspar Street N.W. and County Road #116 A proposal was discussed to add to the scope of the 143rd Avenue N.W. project due to the completed negotiations with the Sauter property. The added scope would provide access and utilities to the Makens property by the addition of two streets, Ebony Street N.W. and 141st Avenue N.W.
