76 APPLICATION ILNSTRUCTIONS Youth Enrichment Grants Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission Minnesota Department of Children, Families & Learning Applications for funds available to design, furnish, equip, renovate, replace, or construct Parks and recreation facilities, school facilities and soccer fields & athletic facilities under Minnesota State law will be evaluated on the basis of the information provided. Applicants should complete the applicant data form found on the following page and attach it to their application for funds. Applicants should provide all information required in the Application Including Predesig~ Project Components section. Applicants should follow [he format, addressing each item and number sections accordingly. Please indicate if a particular item is not applicable, and explain why it is not. Pages should be numbered and an index of sections included. While applications should be complete and thorough, applicants are encouraged to be concise in the presentation of information. When the local unit of' government intends to lease the facility to a private, nonprofit agency, that entity must be named in the lease which must be submitted with the application. All other grant applications must be postmarked by October 16, 2000.
