CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Nelson Finance Officer Diana Lund Public Works Director Brian Olson Planning Manager Amber Miller City Engineer Tim Himmer Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood Development Manager Darren Lazan CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:38 p.m. APPROVE AGENDA The agenda was approved as submitted. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION 1) Legacy Christian Academy Planning Manager Miller stated that Colombo Limited Partnership (Legacy Christian Academy) has applied for a major plat and request for site plan review for a new K -12 private school generally located west of Armstrong Boulevard, south of Alpine Drive, and north of the railroad tracks. Additionally, they have also applied for rezoning to Public /Quasi Public in conjunction with a comprehensive plan amendment for a change in land use to Public /Quasi Public for the subject property. Engineering has also received a petition for a 429 project for the extension of utilities and roadway, the Petitioners are requesting that the improvements be designed, constructed and assessed to the Petitioners as the sole beneficiaries of the improvements.
