-72- <br /> <br />Councilmember XX introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-1 O- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING DATA PRACTICES COMPLIANCE OFFICIAL <br />FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.05 Subd. 13 requires that the City <br />appoint a City employee to act as its data practices compliance official to receive <br />questions or concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data or other data <br />practices problems within the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the need for appropriate and legal <br />access to City data; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the citizens of our City will benefit from the availability of a staff <br />member who can respond to questions or concerns regarding public data and its <br />availability. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the Assistant City Administrator is hereby appointed as the data practices <br />compliance officer to receive questions and concerns regarding problems in obtaining <br />access to data or other data practices problems. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember XX, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
