-68- <br /> <br />Case #2: Consider Ending Probationary Period of TIF Specialist <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Heryta stated that Scan Sullivan assumed the position of TIF <br />Specialist on May 8, 2000, and his six-month probationary period date was November 8, 2000. <br />A written perfotunance appraisal was prepared indicating satisfactory performance for Mr. <br />Sullivan. A meeting as held between Mr. Sullivan and his supervisor, Diana Lund, to review the <br />written perforrnance appraisal. Based on the satisfactory six-month appraisal, staff <br />recommended that TIF Specialist Sean Sullivan be retained as a regular full-tilne employee <br />effective November 8, 2000. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the resolution ending probationary period for TIF Specialist Senn Sullivan and <br />granting him the status of regular full-time employee effective November 8, 2000. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Garnec and Chairperson Anderson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Receive Information on Hiring of Principal Planner <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Heryla stated that on October 24, 2000, Council authorized staff to <br />hire one of two finalists for the Principal Planner position. Based on the panel's <br />recomrnendation, Patrick Trudgeon was offered a position as a Principal Planner with the City of <br />Ramsey. Mr. Trudgeon's starting salary is $551735 and the offer is contingent on background <br />checks and an employment physical and drug screen. Mr. Trudgeon will serve a six-month <br />probationary period. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec Councilmembers Anderson.
