-42- PROPOSED ORDINAxNCE #00- CITY O F R.~u¥ISEY AxNO KA COUNTY STATE OF MIN~'NESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS I4_NO¥~ AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND C 'HA_PTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINAxNCE AMENDING SECTION 9.15 (TOWERS) OF THE CITY CODE OF tL4.MSEY, MINNESOTA. The City. of Ramsey ordains: SECTION I, AMENDMENT Subsection 9.15.03, Towers in Residential Zoning Districts, is amended to read as follows: 9.15.03 Towers in Residential Zoning Districts. Construction of towers to support commercial antennas that conform to all applicable provisions of this Code may be allowed only the following locations: Parcels at l.east 10 acres [n size witlxin the ToWer Overlay District as shown on the official Zoning Map. Al1 church, park, government, school, utility, and institutional sites at least 10 acres in size. Subsection 9.15.04.c.2.(a), Use of City Owned Land for Wireless Telecommunications Antennas and Towers, Special Requirements, Parks, is amended to read as follows: (a) Parks adjacent to an existing commercial or industrial use; Parks [n P,.esidential zones that are a m/n/mum of I 0 acres in size, except that antennas may be attached to existing structures in parks that are not 10 acres in size provided the antenna does not extend more than 15 feet above the highest point of the structure or tower.. (c) Park maintenance facilities Subsection 9.15.05.a and 9.15.05.b, Co-location Requirements, are amended to read as follows: A proposal for a new commercial wireless telecommunication service tower'shall not be approved unless the City 'Council finds that the telecommunicaitons equipment plan.ned for the proposed tower cannot be accommodated on an existing or approved tower or building within a one mile search radius of the proposed tower due to one or more of the fMlo,,~ing reasons: I I I I I !
