Notification to applicants After the City Council has acted on the recommendation of the evaluation panel, the Administrative Services Manager will notify all applicants of the results of the process. 4. Reapplication process a) Letter of intent Members of City boards and commissions who wish to serve a second or third consecutive term of office must notify the City Council of their intent at least two months before the expiration of the current term of office. The Administrative Services Manager will notify commission members three months in advance of the expiration of their terms and invite them to complete and submit a questionnaire for review by the evaluation panel. The evaluation panel may request additional information and/or an interview with the commissioner or board member before making a recommendation to the City Council. The Administrative Services Manager will notify the commissioner or board member of the City Council's decision and the rationale for the decision. The chair of the applicable commission or board, as a member of the evaluation panel, will notify the board or commission of the City Council's decision and the rationale for the decision. If the commissioner or board member does not request reappointment, or if City Council chooses not to reappoint, the expected vacancy will be advertised and the normal application/appointment process followed. 5.
