RESULTS OF SIDEWALK ORDINANCE DISCUSSION <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 2000 <br /> <br /> In the ordinance, replace the text of the second sentence under Section 2 Amendment, #11 Sidewalks, as <br /> follows: Sidewalks may be requked on cul-de-sacs. Correct the typo in Section 3; Maintenace should be <br /> Maintenance. I have instructed Tara to make these changes and put 10 copies in Mark Boos' mailbox for <br /> distribution at the June 8 Park Commission meeting. <br /> <br />· There should be a definition for "sidewalks" in City Code. <br /> <br />· Check City Code; one of the Planning Commissioners recalled that he saw some text, possibly in the Nuisance <br /> Chapter, about penalties for not removing snow Rom sidewalks. This language should be reviewed because it <br /> could conflict with the outcome of this sidewalk ordinance. <br /> <br />· The Commission discussed formulating a recommendation to City Council regarding snow removal from <br /> sidewalks but they could not come to a consensus.
