He explained that all the soils he mines and any <br />produce is kept as an organic farm. He stated that any trees that were taken out were undesirable. <br />Smaller trees were used as firewood and larger trees have been used as hardwood for <br />homeowners. He said he has sold mulch back to the City of Ramsey. He explained his topsoil is <br />shipped over 18 states. He added that he has run ads in local papers to sell the topsoil and with <br />it, the buyer would get one of the trees he removed for free. Many of tlX~se trees were <br />transplanted in the community. He said he went to the University of Illinois ,£6~'if6restry and has <br />some knowledge of the agriculture. He said it is an erroneous statement/that the City has not <br />been to the site to monitor. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt questioned how Mr. Enstrom would respond to the n$ise <br /> <br />Mr. Enstrom stated he has to pump from one pond to anott2;~'?When the digg/ng is"~l~e;,.the <br />pump is turned off.
