RESOLUTION/t00-06- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That Reilley Estates Partnership, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to rezone certain property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on June 6, 2000, and said'public hearing was properly advertised, and the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally d6scribed as follows: / That part of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25,.)Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: Government Lot 2 and Government Lot 3; Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, except those parts of said Government Lot 2 and Government Lot 3, platted as Reilley Estates and Reilley Estates Third Addition, according to the recorded plats, on file in the office of the County Recorder, Anoka County. The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County Minnesota, except the South 660 feet of the West 181.5 feet thereof. The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except the west 1206 feet and except the South 660 feet thereof. 4. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately seventy (75) acres in size. 5. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). That the surrounding adjacent properties to the west, north and east and the property on the south side of 153rd Avenue N.W. are also zoned R-1 Rural Residential and are also in the MUSA. 7. That the surrounding properties were developed prior to being included in the MUSA at rural residential standards with one acre and larger lot sizes.
