Case #3: Consider request for an additional Stop sign at 142nd Lane and Waco Street. The request for this consideration was made by resident, Mr. Wayne Bell. His request suggested that traffic speed is a factor which needs to be considered. Consequently, a speed study should be conducted. Such a study must be conducted under good pavement conditions. The Committee directed staff to conduct the necessary speed study and advise Mr. Bell of this necessary delay. Case #4: Section 28 Development. With the construction of County Road #116 between County Road #56 and County Road #83, the development of Section 28 appears to be imminent. Property owners have made inquiries about the type of access that can be expected to their property. The Committee agreed that having some plan for this area, particularly the transportation and drainage system is very important and directed staff to prepare a plan as soon as possible. Attached to this case are both preliminary transportation and drainage plans. In order to have a plan in place, staff is requesting the following actions: 1) 2) Adopt the attached January 21, 1999 transportation and drainage plans as official preliminary plans. Review these plans with the property owners, the City's planning consultant, and the Planning Commission, then report back to City Council with any necessary revisions.
