Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-10-249 RESOLUTION APPROVING OUTREACH SIX ACRES, INC. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT THE LIGHTHOUSE GRILL AND BAR IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at The Lighthouse Grill and Bar, 6937 Highway #10 NW Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. is a charity that provides customized services and living options for senior, developmentally disabled adults, medically fragile children, and others with special needs; and WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Conl~rol' Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at The Lighthouse Bar and Grill, 6937 Hwy 10 NW, Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Mi~mesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 26th day of January 1999.
