CC Regular Session <br />Date: 04/12/2011 <br />By: Tim Himmer <br />Engineering/Public Works <br />Item #: 5. 5. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Acceptance of plans and specifications, and authorization to bid City project #09-25; Dysprosium Street <br />improvements <br />Background: <br />Council approved the reconstruction of Dysprosium Street NW on May 11, 2010. This project included a reduced <br />pavement width, sidewalks, parking bump -outs, boulevard trees, and lighting. Staff has received plan review <br />comments from MnDOT, with only minor revisions. It is anticipated that plan revisions can be made in about 1-2 <br />weeks, and then the project will be ready for bidding. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends approval from the City Council to authorize the project for bid.
