The calls are down <br />and the main roads are getting cleared off quite well. <br /> <br />Grant has received a bid for street sweeping from McPhillips for $65.00 per hour and is <br />waiting to receive one from Allied. <br /> <br />Grant and the streets crew looked at a John Deere grader at the City of Corcoran. It is <br />recommended that a hydraulic wing be put on the grader especially for use in the cul-de-sacs <br />and quick couplers would add extra lights on the cab. <br /> <br />Adds for bids have been placed for the old plow. <br /> <br />PARKS/UTILITIES <br /> <br />· There are approximately thirty water meter repairs and fifteen installations per month. <br /> <br />· Well #4 has a flow switch problem. <br /> <br />· The Department will receive software for as-built drawings and eventually for storm sewer <br /> plans. <br /> <br />· The ice rinks are in good condition. <br /> <br />COUNCIL AGENDA REVIEW <br /> <br />· Mark reviewed the agenda for the January 26, 1999 counciI meeting. <br /> <br />· Beginning again at the February meeting the Department will review the council meetings. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS/JANUARY 1999 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
