I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December <br />15, 1998, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />6:10 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith asked to add a case to the agenda to begin <br />the process to replace her position. <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as amended. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: End Probationary Period of Patrol Officer Nicholas Stolp <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith stated that Nick Stolp began working for <br />the City as a Patrol Officer in January 1998. The probationary period for this position is <br />one year. Officer Stolp's supervisors have rated his performance satisfactory and <br />recommend that he be retained as a regular, full-time City employee. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend Council <br />adopt the resolution ending the probationary period for Patrol Officer Nick Stolp and <br />granting him the status of regular, full-time employee, effective December 31, 1998. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee/December 15, 1998 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
